It’s always a good idea to do your own research if you are interested in applying for medical marijuana. Background information about cannabis in Australia can also be found online.

In order to be eligible for Cannabis Access Clinics, you must be an Australian resident and have been diagnosed with a condition for which conventional treatments have failed.  You also need to have a letter of support from your GP or specialist for medicinal marijuana as a therapy.

Medicinal Marijuana
Do I Qualify?

To be eligible for medicinal cannabis in Australia, patients must have a condition for which there is some evidence that medicinal cannabis helps. Patients must also have tried conventional treatments for that condition, and found them to be ineffective.

We have developed a quick patient intake form to determine whether you may be an eligible patient for Cannabis Access Clinics. Not all patients will be suitable, and our doctors may recommend treatments other than medical marijuana.  If you would like more information on the conditions that are more likely to be clinically assessed as appropriate for treatment approval, you can review TGA guidance documents.  Please complete our intake form first, then you may be able to proceed with booking an appointment.

Patients will need to obtain a referral form or letter of support from their GP or specialist prior to consultation
